EU Revises Maximum Residue Limits for Flupyradifurone and Phosphonic Acid and Its Salts in Certain Foods
On April 1, 2026, the Official Journal of the European Union published Commission Regulation (EU) 2026/751, which revises the maximum residue limits (MRLs) for flupyradifurone and phosphonic acid and its salts (expressed as phosphonic acid) in certain foods. The products mainly affected include pineapple, sunflower seeds, lettuce and salad plants, spinach and similar leafy vegetables, watercress, artichokes, poppy seeds, barley, oats, rye, among others.
